The Main Line…..

Each layout features two track-powered mainlines operating in opposite directions. The radius of the curves is approximately 8.5 feet and accommodates any sized locomotive and passenger and freight cars. The number of trains operated on each mainline varies from two to four trains depending on the size of the layout and the daring of the tower operator. Power for the layout is provided by two 25 amp BRIDGWERKS transformers providing enough amperage for all these trains. In addition, the club allows radio control trains to be operated as long as the operators are in constant communication with the control tower.

The two main lines enable trains to travel in different directions around the perimeter of the layout; each line can accommodate up to three trains
