Chicago’s “EL” (elevated railway)…..

Scratch-built by Ted Greeno, Jim Creasman, Garry Paine, Ron Owens and set-up by Ron Deisler, the view depicts Michigan Avenue and the Chicago and South Side Rapid Transit Company known as the “EL” (elevated railway)
Since 1892, the EL has provided Chicagoans with an increased freedom of mobility downtown and to surrounding neighborhoods
Riding an EL train is a thrill as it hugs buildings… you can almost reach out and touch someone
A tow truck and people make this scene come to life outside Sharon’s Flower Shop
