Theft of trailer loaded with scenery items
On the morning of November 28th (Thanksgiving Day) two individuals stole a Del Oro Pacific Trailer that is filled with scenery items. The scenery items took hours and hours to create and are the work of Del Oro Pacific members, some of which are no longer here on earth with us.
A photo of the stolen trailer and photos of many of the scenery items are below.
The theft was promptly reported to Monrovia Police, and also local Hobby Shops and train clubs notified of the theft.
It is surmised that the thieves were unaware of the content of the trailer. And if this is true, will probably be looking for a way to dispose of the scenery items.
Please be on the lookout for the trailer or any of the scenery contents. If spotted please notify the Monrovia Police Department (626) 256-8000, report number 24-021833.
Our club is now offering a $5,000 reward for the return of trailer and scenery contents. Contact Monrovia Police with information towards recovery.
